Moving to Croatia, 2003

'Twas a cold and frosty morning, way back in November 2003. Moving from Mallorca to Croatia this photo was taken somewhere in Italy along the way. Can you believe we came here with our "life" jam packed into the car. Now when customs at the Slovenian border wanted us to remove everything .... I had a British hizzy fit and the customs waved us through!

  1. LOL, I had to look up the meaning of "British hizzy fit" in the online dictionary - I learned something and I laughed doing it!

  2. Yasmine - you might have found it quicker in the dictionary, if I had spelt it correctly in the first place!

Hissy Fit: A sudden outburst of temper, often used to describe female anger at something trivial. Originally regional from American South. Thought to originate from contraction of "hysterical fit."

e.g. She threw a hissy fit when she found out the last pair of shoes had been sold.
