The Old Town Dubrovnik is a walled fortress with buildings going back to the 12th century. It is a warren of alleyways (all perfectly safe!) with surprising finds on every corner. There is a lot of private accommodation for rent. Here on one of the most photographed streets I have found a lovely renovated 2 bedroom apartment, dating back to the 14th century, and renovated in 2006. Click here for more.
