Croatia to Mallorca

Hello to all my friends who followed me with Azure Croatia!  In April I moved everything plus 3 cats back to Mallorca; a beautiful island in the Mediterranean, and one I know so well since I worked here initially in 1987!!!   I am working back with Nash Homes Mallorca a real estate agency specialising in this SW area.   I have just started this blog www.nashhomesmallorca.blogspot.com so I do hope you will sign up to follow me, and I will keep you informed of this magical island!

Beautiful Figs

Croatia's Mediterranean climate is excellent for cultivating figs. We visited our friends' garden today and saw their figs are soon to ripen within a week or two. Wonderful fresh figs - our favourite.

Waking up to snow!

Our blizzard lasted all afternoon and all night. We still have strong winds sweeping down from the mountains. Not for 4 decades has Dubrovnik seen such snow. This has now turned to ice. At least we have sunshine which should help the melting. Anyone reading this who lives in a snowy climate will think it's not a lot, but here in the Mediterranean it is something new. Stay warm!
